General:
The ProTac III headset by 3M Peltor is well-insulated, active hearing protection. The insulation technology is level-dependent: impulse noise and loud noises are immediately below 82 dB attenuated, whereas normal ambient noise can be regulated down in 5 levels adjustable. Utilizing a stereo function, alarm signals, warning calls, or can be generated at any time. For example, vehicles are perceived.
Of course, the headset does not need to be removed to communicate. A mobile phone or radio can be connected via the 3.5mm jack. Calls can be received directly and to be accepted.
The rugged design of the headset is designed for durability. All the electronics are housed in the outer capsule to protect them from sweat and moisture.
